The Influence on Ancient Civilizations by Extraterrestrial Beings
There is a relatively new idea sprouting up in popular culture that suggests that maybe we are not as alone in the universe as we like to believe, and that maybe our ancestors already knew this. Evidence that supports this radical idea of extraterrestrial involvement in ancient civilizations can be found across the world in a myriad of cultures, and the research for this evidence is labeled as paleo-SETI, or search for paleo extraterrestrial intelligence. The supporting factors for this archaeological endeavor are quite numerous and diverse in nature, ranging from ancient scriptures, including the Bible, to hieroglyphs in ancient Egypt. This new found idea brings up many questions like, were the gods nothing more than ancient aliens? or can the great achievements of man, including the pyramids of Egypt, really be attributed to the engineering brilliance of humans? This being the case, it can only be inferred, with all of the supporting evidence out there, that ancient civilizations had a copious amount of help and support from extraterrestrial beings. Ancient civilizations were greatly influenced by extraterrestrials with the utilization of advanced technologies, knowledge, and even religion.
There is much speculation as to how the ancient peoples of the world were able to accomplish what they apparently did. Such feats as the construction of the Great Pyramids, or the statues on Easter Island, and even Stonehenge baffle historians still to this day. However, there is one valid explanation that has been banished and laughed at by many in the archaeological world, and that is that these feats were accomplished with the aid of alien beings from another world. Some, such as Erich von Daniken, one of the leading researchers in the field of PSETI, speculate that the ancient civilizations utilized alien technology to aid them in their creations, because “...early Stone Age man did not have the technology or ability to build these wonders of the world,” (Gromacki, 25). They believe that the ancient peoples were just not technologically advanced enough to move the thousands upon thousands pounds of stone as far as they did and as high as they did. These people did not have the machinery or the tools required for the job, so how did they do it? With help from superior beings with the technology and intellect to achieve such a goal, these tasks become possible. This idea is not mere speculation or wishful thinking, there are hieroglyphs that support this in the pyramids and around Egypt. Hieroglyphs depicting the likeness of lightbulbs and aircrafts can be found etched into various temples and pyramids in Egypt, (Grünschloß, 9). There are many other examples of evidence supporting the use of futuristic technologies in ancient cultures around the world, from the mayans to the Greeks.
The knowledge that these ancient peoples gained from these interplanetary space travelers was extensive. They were taught things that rival our own knowledge in modern times. However, the knowledge they gained is heavily related to both technology and religion. For example, through the aliens they were able to learn that the Earth is round and full of land masses that were not yet discovered (Gromacki, 30). They were able to grasp the idea of space travel and flight via machinery. They were able to utilize the knowledge of electricity to light the crypts of the pyramids where the oxygen levels could not support a flame (Lewis, 122). The knowledge they gained does, indeed, rival our own; however, it does not seem that they were able to comprehend it well enough to keep detailed records on how to use these advanced ideas. This lack of comprehension is what caused mankind to lose these ideas after a while, and is also what caused us to have to reinvent them at a later date.
Religion often involves these supreme beings who rule over man with both benevolence and menelavance. However, evidence shows that these supreme beings may have been nothing more than extraterrestrials. There is a multitude of pictures showing these “gods” in various flying machines spanning many religions such as the greek god Apollo, who flies across the sky in a fiery chariot. Sanskrit texts from India describe a flying machine called a Garuda the “shook the ground when it landed on Earth,” (Gromacki, 34). The Hopi and Zuni people believed in these creatures called the Kachinas, or gods from the sky. They wore clothes that resembled helmets and protective armour, much like modern soldiers and astronauts (Gromacki, 35). In the story of Atrahasis, which is a story about the creation of life, the “gods” made man in their image after a revolt from the lesser gods. These “gods” were actually the extraterrestrial beings known as the Anunnaki who came to Earth in the search of gold (Gromacki, 26). The Akkadian telling of the Epic of Gilgamesh describes the first ever human space travel. In the epic a person named Enkidu is taken in the “talons of an eagle” and flew ever higher for hours and hours and told to look upon the earth and the ocean and to describe what he saw. His description of the earth from such a height was too accurate to of just been imagined, he described it saying, “the land looked like porridge and the sea like a water trough.” In the same epic, they speak of breeding between “god” and man; however, why would a god breed with a mortal if they created man with magic, gods do not breed. The answer is because man was created by science, and the breeding was a scientific experiment by an alien race. Also, in many religions it is said that no mortal eyes may view the face of a god and live. It is said to be because humans are not ready to comprehend what they are seeing. This is actually due to the fact that what humans would have saw was an alien being, and they would of been found out. Also, in the Gilgamesh Epic, the gods gathered around the sacrifice made to stop the flood because they were starving. Gods do not starve, but living creatures do (Gromacki, 31). There are many examples of how gods can be interpreted as simply being aliens and nothing more, these examples spread through time and history and are scattered across the planet.
In the end, someone only has to look closely at ancient civilizations to understand that they have indeed made contact with alien beings. There are many depictions of these ancient extraterrestrials and they span from the Hindus, to the Egyptians, to even the Native Americans. If someone were to look even closer, they would realize that they did not just come into contact with them, they actually were influenced by them. Research into the PSETI field has shown that entire religions have been created around these beings, and monolithic superstructures, such as the Great Pyramids have been built with the aid of these aliens. In the end there is only one conclusion, and that is that ancient civilizations were greatly influenced by extraterrestrials with the utilization of advanced technologies, knowledge, and even religion.
